A Web Based Survey on the Environmental Risk Factors Associated with ACL Injuries in Soccer Players
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe goal was to create a web survey to study the relationship and risk factors associated with anterior cruciate ligament injuries in soccer players. Interactions between footwear and surfaces were focused on, looking into any potential relationships. We successfully designed a series of surveys, a website and marketed the project to high school and college teams. Low response rates were obtained, preventing us from making conclusions about shoe-surface combinations and prevention methods. However we were able to conclude that the methods used did not generate adequate responses.
