Improving Emergency Preparedness in Monte Verde Costa Rica
PublicDue to extensive damage from Tropical Storm Nate in October 2017, the community of Monte Verde, Costa Rica, realized they needed to improve their approach to handling emergencies. These improvements consisted of a map containing important locations in Monte Verde, detailed supplies and warehouse plans, and an emergency protocol for educating residents about emergencies using an app and infographics.
