This project presents the design and costs of a four-season greenhouse-style conservatory which would be situated on the south portion of Higgins Lawn, adjacent to the gardens. The team developed a structural design, a preliminary energy analysis, cost estimates for materials and labor, and detailed renders that conform to building code. The team prioritized architectural and management engineering principles to seamlessly integrate the new structure with the existing landscape, while also strategically highlighting the conservatory's advantages for the university as a whole.
