open in viewerIntelligent Tutoring Systems have become a focal part of research in the education and computer science fields. Currently there is a 200:1 ration of an ITS to learning time obtained from the ITS (Anderson and Murry). A new project known as the Assistments project intends to drastically decrease this ratio to approximately 10:1, by creating a system that is easy to use and deploy to teachers and students. This paper intends to give the reader the background and future direction of the Assistments project as well as provide recommendations for the Assistments project.
