Public DepositedDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis report investigates expansion strategies for Kaicycle, an urban farming/composting initiative in Wellington, New Zealand. We analyzed business customers and producers in the compost market to inform Kaicycle as they expand into commercial compost sales. Through interviews and market analysis, we evaluated purchasing decisions and Kaicycle's competitive positioning. To differentiate Kaicycle from its competitors we recommended the following: remove physical contaminants, perform tests on key factors, develop consistency via inputs and processing control, and document/publish its entire operation.
