The controversy on Saint Joseph's Church in Worcester, Mass. is discussed. A case study is developed that incorporated what actually happened and recommendations to prevent such a controversy. Options to prevent emergency structural repairs are developed with considerations of cost, affect on church community, and affect on church hierarchy.
