open in viewerWeb services are becoming an increasingly popular tool in large software development environments. This project assessed several existing frameworks for exposing Java classes as web services, looking for an effective, consistent handling of many complex data types. One framework was chosen and used as the base for a skeleton Eclipse project which enables developers to quickly and easily expose Java classes as web services and secures access to those services to only a certain set of authorized applications.
