In the Fes Medina, the old city of Fes, Morocco, residents have limited access to environmental education and public green spaces. Our team, working with the Tourat Mdinty Association, designed a plan to establish a public garden on the El Mokri Palace’s property to improve environmental education and interactive learning in the Fes Medina. Through extensive garden observations and expert interviews, we proposed a garden design plan to modify existing gardens on the El Mokri property, a plant list of plants in the gardens, a portfolio website, designed educational pamphlets, and compiled a list of future interactive workshops and events for visitors of the garden.
