This document describes the research and development of peripheral devices for use with the Superbrick Modular Robotics Platform. The peripheral devices extend the functionality of the Superbrick platform allowing feature-rich devices to be developed around the Superbrick platform. The peripherals developed serve two purposes: to aid in the design and testing of the Superbrick platform, and to provide a foundation for future peripheral development. The end result is an extendable, robust platform that is easily configure to fit nearly any application.
