HIV/AIDS Prevention Strategies in the Private Sector of Namibia
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe goal of this project was to develop innovative, sustainable HIV/AIDS prevention strategies that can be implemented in Namibia. To achieve this goal, we examined current HIV/AIDS workplace programs in Namibian businesses by conducting interviews with wellness coordinators and other HIV/AIDS stakeholders. Using archival research, we identified innovative HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support, and treatment strategies in other locations. Based on our results, we recommend that NABCOA implement mobile testing units, a national HIV/AIDS hotline, and periodic wellness days.
