Supporting Asset-Based Community Development in Maitland Garden Village
PublicEmploying a strategy of Asset-Based Community Development, our team set out to form a close relationship with residents of Maitland Garden Village and to help them build on their strengths as a community. We worked collaboratively with the residents to coordinate and create a youth focused community development organization called the Green Light Project. This initiative, led by motivated leaders in the community, was created to remain sustainable.
