Commercial construction companies have implemented new technologies, such as project management software, in order to improve their construction management efficiency. According to this project’s survey of 80 employees working in construction companies, the average satisfaction on their current PM software ability to integrate all construction aspects is 6.65/10. The survey respondents also stated that quality, safety and being on-time are the most important success factors in a construction project. A step by step thought process is provided to help construction companies choose the most appropriate PM software. Commercial construction companies that want to improve their construction management efficiency should focus more on the functionality of the software instead of their price.
