Spectrum and Scale

open in viewerThere exists a relationship between scale and spectrum. Using sensory dissonance curves this relationship can be observed and understood. In this project a timbre is chosen, its spectrum deduced and a scale is designed based on the spectrum; then this is done in reverse, a scale is chosen, a spectrum for it is deduced and a timbre is synthesized.
