Understanding the Purple Clay Composition and Its Effects on Green tea

open in viewerThe project develops a scientific understanding of the chemical composition of purple clay and its interaction with green tea. The team utilized multiple characterization methods, including SEM, EDX, XRD, TGA, XRF, ICP-OES, and pH tests, and recommended future research directions based on analysis of the characterization results. The results suggest that purple clay is a safe material for tea environment and additional tests on different kinds of tea may help to fully understand health effects of tea.
