During the second semester of the 2017-2018, I undertook a teaching practicum at Forest Grove Middle School in Worcester, Massachusetts. As a student teacher, I completed my IQP and worked with eight grade students in science. In this report, I first investigated the current state of education in Massachusetts. I also demonstrate my proficiency in the 6 CAP elements, including high expectations, well-structured lessons, safe learning environment, adjustment to practice, meeting diverse needs and reflective practice. I included sample assessments, student work and lesson plans to show my proficiency in these areas. Lastly, I analyzed the four classes I taught showing my growth in the classroom with references to student and supervising feedback.
