The purpose of this Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) was to increase new member acquisition and retention, while dramatically increasing the amount of knowledge and practical skill sets within the WPI Formula SAE team. The second purpose of our IQP was to overhaul the team website to help advertise, spread information, and record history for the club. We have achieved the first goal by developing a curriculum that utilizes short videos with simple embedded quizzes. The videos cover various technical skills that will help the new members be a productive contributor to the team. We were also able to pilot the curriculum which gave us valuable insight into potential improvements that could help us come closer to our first goal. We achieved the second goal by creating a new website from the ground up to better display important information while giving a clean look into the history of the team.
