This is a study of the stock market, concentrating on short-term trading. It includes a background of the stock market with a brief history, an overview of how the market functions, and a summary of different research strategies. A stock market simulation was then completed in order to understand how short-term trading in real life works, so that a person could apply the lessons learned herein to investing in the real world.
