This MQP involved the design and creation of a circuit board with a microprocessor to control the functions of a paintball marker (gun). The intent was to produce a board that had qualities and features similar to current top-of-the-line commercial products, with the addition of a RF transceiver for remotely monitoring the status of the marker. The project culminated in the production of a prototype PCB that was tested with several models of marker and functioned correctly. A platform-independent PC program facilitates the monitoring of tournament-regulated settings during gameplay. Communications between the board and PC were successful and produced the desired results.
