Holy Name High School Laboratory Modernization
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerBiotechnology and Microbiology are growing areas of biology that many high schools are starting to incorporate into their curricula. Many students are now choosing to narrow down their major in college from a broad life sciences field like biology to a more specialized major like biotechnology or microbiology. With this shift in the life sciences, high schools across the country need to adjust their labs accordingly. This report proposes how Holy Name High School can change their life science laboratories to bridge the gap between high school and university in order to prepare students for this shift to more specialized majors.
- This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
