Transcriptomic Analysis of Pseudomonas putida in Varied Growth Conditions
Public DepositedDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis project aimed at understanding the variability in gene expression of Pseudomonas putida between laboratory and simulated liquid soil conditions. P. putida was grown in LB media and solubilized extract of soil organic material (SESOM) with either log phase or stationary growth. RNA-Seq analysis was employed to understand gene expression changes under the different growth conditions. The analysis revealed that most variation occurs between changes in medium, suggesting that growth medium components strongly influence gene expression patterns. Ultimately, we aim to unravel the genetic adaptations crucial for understanding P. putida’s survival in the soil environment, advancing scientific understanding and practical applications for engineered organisms in the soil.
