Particle detection system

The goal of this project is to determine the feasibility of a system which detects and locates high speed particles entering an air intake system, specifically on jet engines. A prototype of the system was created. Testing was completed both in the lab and in the field with high speed projectiles. The project concludes that in order to determine the position of particles in two dimensions, data latching independent of the microcontroller is required.
