Venetians rely on boats as their primary means of transportation. Built over a thousand years ago, canal walls are deteriorating due to the powerful wakes created by modern motor boats. Our project uses a combination of ultrasound and pressure transducers to correlate boat activity and the resulting affect on canal walls.
