Exhibit design for the Worcester EcoTarium -- featuring Canis latrans and approved by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association
PublicWorking with the Worcester EcoTarium, a location-specific design was achieved that is user-friendly (to the museum visitors) and both comfortable and natural to the animal. Extensive research led to constant modifications in design, resulting in the current model which features open areas as well as a den and heated rock outlook, and fenced, concrete, and Plexiglas viewing areas. Approval of the design was sought from the American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA), an organization dedicated to improving the comfort level of wildlife exhibits.
