Development of residential estate in Lagos, Nigeria

Public

This MQP project reviews the ongoing development of a residential estate in Lagos, Nigeria. It identifies the major obstacles encountered by the developer along the way and proposes potential solutions to these problems. These solutions consist of a preliminary design of a flood control scheme for the estate to protect against future flooding, an analysis of the time schedule and economic feasibility for the construction of the rest of the project, and a preliminary design of a mat foundation on compressible soil.
