With assignments being assigned daily, it is difficult for teachers to give each student meaningful feedback. The current ASSISTments 2.0 has plans for enhancing student feedback through their DRIVER-SEAT and QUICK-Comments system. New features were added to ASSISTments 2.0 to collect data on teacher comments for these planned features. The comment data to be collected consists of open response feedback and comments on a student’s actions while completing an assignment. This data will be used to train the models needed to suggest meaningful and personalized feedback teachers could give their students.
