Web-based archaeological stratification tool

Public

Archaeologists are constantly constructing relative chronologies for excavation sites through analysis of stratigraphic information and the use of the Harris Matrix, an analytical tool. The Harris Matrix is traditionally constructed by hand, which is both time consuming and limits the availability of the Harris Matrices to other colleagues. The paper discusses a web-based system for the generation of Harris Matrices on demand for an excavation site in South West Turkey.
