Understanding & testing key issues with PEMFCs

Público

This project examined effects of varying humidity and carbon monoxide on a twenty-five square inch proton membrane exchange fuel cell. It focused on studying the changes of the voltage and resistances. It was found that the voltage increased and the resistances decreased with increasing humidity temperature of the reactant air gas; unpure water in the humidifier did not have an affect on the cell's resilience; and the pollutant caused resistances to increase.
