This Project is a stock market simulation that took place in 3 phases. The first three weeks were background information, the next 5 weeks were simulation, and the last 4 weeks were for analysis. The objective of the project was to generate knowledge of the stock market and to examine two different trading strategies. The strategies used in the simulation were Buy and Hold and Swing Trading. Both strategies turned profitable with Buy and Hold yielding a 10.2% return and swing trading yielding a 4.75% return. The NASDAQ had 7.01% return for the same period. The experience learned in this project provided the participants with valuable lessons and knowledge in their future investments.
