PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe purpose of this report was to examine the feasibility of transitioning New York State’s energy production to a wind, water and sunlight (WWS) based system. Specifically, this paper focuses on a report released by Stanford University Professor Mark Jacobson on February 18, 2013. It was concluded that this transition was not feasibly at the current time due to the technological, economic and social limits of current generation technology in the fields of wind, water and solar power generation.
