Boston mapping archaeological resources.

open in viewerThis report is designed to document the production of computerized maps and overlays of all existing archaeological information regarding the City of Boston and to create a corresponding database that will depict site-specific land-use history in Boston. This database and map will facilitate city, state and agency planning, policy, and the identification of research priorities. The report also describes the project's methodology and provides information about initiating the project, information about MapInfo, Access, GIS and introductions about how the maps and database can be used.
- This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
