In the emerging field of biological neural networks (BNNs), little is known about the effect of external stimulus on cell connectivity. In this paper, we explore how different methods for culturing n2a mouse neuroblasts affect the morphology of the resulting BNN. We also improve upon existing methods of computer image analysis to identify the boundaries and connectivity of the cells. In the future, this technology could be used to track the changes in the connectivity of the BNN when exposed to external stimuli
