公开可下载的内容
open in viewerThe goal of this project was to investigate the ability of peat moss to remove crude oil from water. Because peat is an organic substance, it has been shown to absorb other organic substances, such as oil. This report will investigate peat's ability to absorb oil from oil-contaminated water. The absorption of crude oil was measured through various experiments. The data collected was then analyzed in order to design a full-scale treatment system.
