Promoting Safe Commuting Practices to Reduce Traffic Congestion: A Traffic Educational Program for Schools in Thung Khru District
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerOur project assessed the traffic congestion in Thung Khru, Bangkok, Thailand. Through interviews and observations, we determined school traffic to be the problem. Because of constraints on engineering and traffic enforcement solutions, we explored possible educational solutions. We then developed and tested a traffic educational program that promotes safe and mindful traffic behaviors for 5th grade students at Na Luang School. After successfully testing the program, we recommended the program be expanded to all school age groups.
