FRIDAY, JAN 25, 1946 Went to Chicago on the 1024 Rocket. Spent afternoon at National Safety Council at a meeting of 9 men including COJohnson Advertising manager of IHC. Ford his assistant Bob Jones F.E.I. Coe, Peterson, [Wilwendy?] It was about F.E.I standing about 1/3 of the cost of a Safety movie. National Safety Council is to bote on proposal next Friday & then the proposition will be put up to the F.E.I to see if they will authorize $10000. then, E.E.I Petrolium Institute and [Breeders?] will be asked to make up the balance.
