276 MONDAY, Oct. 3, 1927 All day at tractor works. Found McCray was very much subdued, He looks tired. The model for making tractor wider at radiator appealed to him and they will do it. The two main problems are 1. To hold down front end of tractor in hilly ground 2. To prevent cocking of front axle They got 25 hp in brake test today on new model C. They have built a device for testing stability of tractor on hillsides both up & down & sideways. McCray needs encouragement and I think I was able to help him some.
