MONDAY MAY 26 1947 The season is very late and not much corn has been planted because of the large number of rainy days. Elise bought a wall cabinet made of old wood which arrived today from Carson Pierce & Scott. It looks very well on the wall in the living room. Elise has filled the shelves with ornaments. Elise is feeling much better which rejoices me. We went to the Tri City Garden Show at Petersons Store in Davenport. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ and old block print of Bills. [Insert: Block pring]
