2 January 2 TUESDAY Snow I went with Harold White who drove his car to Waterloo. We left at 10A.M. and spent afternoon with McCormick. WE went overroad maintenance report to a point where I can finish it. Saw new hydraulic lift where sucessive steps on pedal operate the lidt. Itlooks and acts well. WEnt over program for H X tractor. It looks as tho only 14 of these tractors would be available before July and we talked over what thePower Farming Committee should be recommended as to where these should be placed. We spent thenight in Waterloo. It snowed in evening and driving in dark under these conditions is not so safe. Saw Allen Head in hospital He was in an automobile smash with Rowland last Friday evening. He is coming on O.K. with only a broken wrist.
