TUESDAY FEB. 3 1948 Some snow today. Bill writes "Amey Aldrich asked me to supper after the New Friends Concert (the Hindermiths were present at concert) shehad invited also a girl teaching at the Hamilton School. We had a most entertaining time. She is absolutely a remarkable and stimulating person. I am going to take my drawings over there soon Monday there was a party at Mary Callery's, featuring the Steinbergs. Mrs S is very amazing- he is a gente quiet, serious, looks quite a bit like this [Charicature: by Bill, of Mrs Steinberg]
