SUNDAY Jan. 2 1949 Bill left for New York at 1020 this morning. He was here nearly two weeks and we all agreed it was one of the best visits ever. Later Elise and I packed a box which we will send tomorrow to ULLI Delius, Stuttgart-Zuffenhousen, Löwensteiner str 51 Germany It contained 4 pairs of shoes, sizes 101/2, 9, 81/2, & 4 wide 16 pairs of socks and stockings. $2300 I paid for them. also coat of Elises.
