Public DepositedSaturday, May 18, 1940 The Germans have now captured Antwerp and practically all of Belgium. Their terrific air bombardment and heavy tanks cover a lot of ground and now they are in France and there is grave fear that Paris may be taken or else lthe English & French troops cut in two. The feeling here is tremendous and all for the Allies. In afternoon Elise & I and her mother drove to Amana where we bought some blankets for Elise Jr.
