Public DepositedMonday, November 30, 1936 Clear Met LaSeigue & Pippel with Roff & Parker at 9 and stayed till 3. When we got there we had agreed upon all the licenses which were written up. The only one about which ther was any question was power lift. They have an application filed in Nov 1932 which is to issue Dec 22nd. Some of the claims covered our present power lift in which the power shaft comes thru the cover plate. We rather floored them by showing Moline had a power lift doing this on the market in April 1930 which would be a Statuatory bar to the validity of IHC patent. IHC agreed on $480 royalty on mechanical power lift. and $240 on hydraulic lift if our patents cover it (we think reissue will) and on any combination of power lift and implement which we have patents on. Also a gentlemens afreement that either Deere of IHC could by showing the other a drawing or literature of an implement ask if the other had any allowed claims covering the structure. I met Mr McAlister President of IHC. It is hoped that the licenses will be sigend before the end of the year. Did not get to ASAE meetings today. Ate at "Stop & Shop" Saw "Call IT A DAY" good A Theatre Guild Production.
