Monday, July 27, 1931 Cloudy We left Ganonaque at 9 this morning and drove along the St Lawrence river to Prescott and then to Ottawa 104 miles. Ottawa is a beautiful city with rivers canals all made beautiful by parkways along their borders. We ate lunch at Hull across the river in Quebec. Then in afternoon we drove 125 miles to Montreal. We are at the Mont Royal. Talked with Amy at Intervale. She said everything was alright. We ate at Kraussman's and later each family took a carriage and rode to the top of Mt Royal. This is one of the things to do and we enjoyed it particularly.
