Tuesday, February 23, 1937 Clear I was at the tractor show at 7 and was there all day. The outstanding feature seems to be damming attachments. Ours is preimenent. Minnapolis Moline, Case, Dempster, IHC also show them. Case showed a picture "from a blade" which tried to show that Leonard Andress invented the steel plow. It was rather uncomplimentary and in exceedingly poor taste to Deere & Co and John Deere. Got much information on implements. Oliver & Huber have done some streamlining on tractors. We will have to think about this. Better seats are necessary. Rubber tires are coming to the fore way rapidly. [Letterhead: Allis Hotel, Wichita] Room 1709 Saw Nick Blair in evening. He said Herb was in Wichita. Hope to see him tomorrow.
