Thursday, February 27, 1913 Joe Browning got back from Lansing Michigan where he went to fix a spreader. Tried out the John Deere along side the Corn King and New Idea. Did much better work than the Corn King and as well as the New idea with much less draft. Sheep manure on snow a hard proposition. Have built 18300 spreaders J. Deere so far. In evening went over to St. Catherines to see Eda & Hildegarde Koehler. Letter from Elise. Bed 9.30
