Helen Stone finished the portrait of Wiliam T. Brown this morning. Elise, Bill and Iwent up to see it at 6 o'clock. We were bery much pleased and delighted with the likeness and whole thing. It is excellent. We are to have it. We took Helen to the Golf Club for dinner. Very uncomfortably hot. [Headlines: Dispatch; World news]
