Public DepositedThursday, March 10, 1938 Meeting of QD committee lasting from 10AM to 330 [Signatures: W.J. Coultas Barrett G. Rich George B. Hill M.H. Tuft O.F. Drennan M ? Hansen J.W. Johnson Frank Court Theo Brown] Found that since the radiator has been moved back an effective distance of 31/2" the "A" cultivators will not fit on "B" tractors. Therefore it will not be necessary to cut out side plates. The committee representing the implement factories are in accord in insisting that Studs be put in front end while Tractor Co wants to leave it clear. Talked to McCormick on phone and he wants me to come up tomorrow. Wiman sat in meeting at last and feels we mustleave studs to keep inventory down. What the committee feels is right is to have 2 studs at bottom and 2 tapped holes above for which studs and nuts would be furnished with implements when needed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Charley Wiman came to dinner this evening. Later we went to a movie.
