TUESDAY DEC. 13 1949 National Safety Council Board of Derectors meeting at 10 this morning, nearly 40 present. I, unexpectedly had to report on Farm Council. Was surprised to find how little it bothered me to do it. Ned DEarborn promised again to get a sponsor group for Farm Conference together after January. Amy and Kate came to the Biltmore at 2 P.M. the three of us went to see the move "Red Shoes". Then up to May Pearce's for tea. Then to the Shanghai restaurant where Evarts, Louise, Clare Roger and Laura all met us and where we had dinner together and celebrated Evarts 70th birthday. Later we all walked over to see the marvelous Christmas at Radio Center. It is so beautiful it [beggars?] description. [Address card: Wallace Falvey...Boston]
