Wednesday, March 26, 1941 Clear/Rain [Headlines:Honolulu Advertiser;World news] Saw the LURLINE come by Waikiki this morning at 730 a beautiful sight. Elise and I in the water and on the beach for quite a while this morning. [Drawing: Elise Jr. Man recording surf] Elise Jr Drew this Lee and Bill had lunch with us at "The Tropics" Then frank Dillingham took Elise and me to the Bishop Museum where we met the curator Mr Bryan who as a special favor showed us the precious feather capes which are seldon shown and let me take colored pictures of them. then a drive up to KamahahaSchool, high up on the hills. Bill hopes to have deed for house ready tomorrow We four wentto a cocktail party at the R.T. Williams (friends of Stones) 1215 Alewa Drive. They have a beautiful house near Kamahaha School with a view of all Honolulu and harbor. We had dinner at :South Seas" and then played bridge3 at our cottage.
