Tuesday, March 12, 1940 [Drawing: Clutch lever, brake drum] A further development of yesterday's idea The two differential foot brakes are operated and applied when operation gets off tractor or plarform and clutch is thrown out also. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace was signed between Russia & Finland this afternoon. We got the news at 530 over the radio. Finland looses and England & France loose too for not helping Finland sooner. It is a blow to civilization. War is to stop tomorrow according to dispatcher.
