Tuesday, April 29, 1941 Clear [Headlines:Tribune; World news] Deere & Co Annual meeting today. For the year to date the sales of Deere 7 Co are 55 millions, the highest in history. It is only a matter of producing goods as everything can be sold. Materials are getting more difficult to get. Everyone feels we will have an awful depression but just now we are busy beyond belief. We have a large war order for 2881 transmissions and differentials for the M3 tank. It amounts to about 18 millions. We have formed the Iowa Transmissions Co. to handle this business.
